The Kemp Group is currently working with a client to fill a Manager of External Reporting position located in Northern VA.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review all SEC filings.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and manage implentation of new accounting pronouncements.
Assist in the preparation of various internal reports.
Manage the accounting for stock compensation.
Interact closely with external auditors and external legal counsel.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC Accounting and Reporting requirements.
Peform special analytical requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
7-10 years of experience with 4-5 years of public accounting experience performing audits of commercial businesses.
Must have excellent SEC reporting knowledge.
