The Kemp Group is currently working with a manufacturing client to fill an Accounting Manager position located North of Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

Manage the monthly close process.

Supervise junior team members.

Facilitate the quarterly and annual audit in addition to the preparation of workpapers.

Manage the monthly forecast.

Manage the relationships with the divisions and corporate tax department.

Lead the company wide process to streamline the account reconciliation process.

Identify areas of improvement within the accounting department.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA is required. MBA is preferred.

6+ years experience in general accounting.

3+ years management experience.

Strong background reflecting a history of process improvements.
