The Kemp Group is currently working with an established financial services client to fill a Director of Balance Sheet Management position located in Philadelphia PA.

Responsibilities:

Develop a thorough understanding of required capital/liquidity regimes.

Assist in the creation of new and unique customized solutions to business problems leveraging expertise in balance sheet and cpaital markets.

Assist in the oversight of legal entity management, balance sheet controls and capital administration.

Assist the head of Balance Sheet Management in managing key external relationships with regulators, rating agencies, investors and bankers.

Requirements:

8-10 years experience in investment, quantitative, acturial, risk, strategic treasury functions or capital market experience and/or research.

BS degree or higher in mathematics, actuarial science, finance or financial engineering.

MBA preferred.

ASA/FSA/CPA preferred.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver complex analytical modeling.

Prior experience in analyzing derivatives, capital securities and mathematical/quantitative models.

Bottoms up understanding of the insurance industry.
