The Kemp Group is currently working with an established Financial Services client to fill a Tax Manager - Mutual Funds position located in Philadelphia PA.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the Tax Function for the Mutual Funds owned by company.

Insure compliance with IRS regulations regarding Mutual Funds.

Act as a liaison between fund accounting and outside auditors.

Coordinate with Fund Accounting on tax sections of annual reporting.

Responsible for corporate tax reporting.

Review and file returns prepared by third party administrator.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA required.

5+ years experience in corporate tax with mutual fund exposure.

GAAP/SEC Reporting experience in regards to tax reporting.

Experience working with State and Federal Tax Auditors.
