The Kemp Group is currently working with an established financial services client to fill a Director of Life Insurance Taxes position located in Philadelphia PA.

Responsibilities:

minimize federal and state tax payments and avoid penalty and interest assessments while complying with state and federal laws.

Reduce exposure to litigation by ensuring that proper accounting for income taxes are in place.

Heighten tax awareness of executive team.

Coordinate with other members of Senior Tax Group.

Contibute to the development of tax staff through monitoring and training.

Maintain tax expertise by participating in industry and trade association activities.

Work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, COntroller, Directors of Planning and Analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA/MBA highly desired.

7-10 years in Life Insurance Tax.
