The Kemp Group is currently working with an established cient to fill a Senior Cost Accountant position located in Tupelo MS.

Responsibilities:

Classify and analyze material, labor and overhead costs.

Maintain standard costs for products.

Prepare cost of sales and operating cost reports.

Perform analysis and prepare reports related to inventory.

Compare actual costs to budgeted costs.

Responsible for budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA/MBA/CMA a plus.

3+ years exprience in cost accounting.

Strong background in Bill of Materials and Labor Reporting.

Knowlede of Oracle a plus.
