The Kemp Group is currently working with an established manufacturing client to fill a Credit Director position located near Huntsville Al.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a staff of 4-5 staff members in cash receipts an collections.

Establish ad manage credit, collection, AR and cash application processes and policies and oversee personnel involved in these activities across the corporation.

Communicate and report on receivables and customer collection issues to Senior Management across the corporation.

Report receivables to the Parent Corporation Treasury Group and interact with them on enterprise initiatives.

Perform credit reviews of nw and existing customers, determine appropriate credit limits & termsof sales and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

Assist in the collection of problem accounts including coordinating the use of attorneys and collection agencies.

Direct responsibility for managing the Days Sales Outstanding metric and Bad Debt Write-off objective.

Maintain internal controls to insure compliance with SOX.

Travel 10%.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

5-7 years of experience in AR, Credit & Collecions of Financial Management.

CCE, CBF or CBA preferred.

Strong computer skills required.
