The Kemp Group is currently working with an established manufacturing client to fill a Tax Analyst position located in Kingsport TN.

Responsibilities:

Prepare FAS109 quarterly and annual income tax provisions.

Prepares federal and state income tax returns and related tax filings.

Prepare and maintain required supporting documentation for tax provisions.

Maintain tax calendar and ensure that state income tax returns are timely filed.

Perform tax research of income tax issus impacting company operations.

Supports tax audits of th company, including analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

4-6 years of related corporate income tax exprience with an international or national accounting firm.

CPA/Masters-Tax preferred.

Significant experience in federal and state tax compliance, tax research and analysis along with knowledge of consolidated returns and intercompany transactions.
