Bill Phelps came to the Kemp Group after 25 years in manufacturing accounting. His past positions include Cost Accountant, Cost Manager, General Ledger Manager, and Controller.
"I don’t see this as a career change, rather an extension of what I have already been doing for over 25 years. Seeing this opportunity to couple my experience in Accounting with that of interacting with people of similar backgrounds, helping both the client and candidate to find a solid match in skills and needs, is what brought me to this arena. I enjoy what I do and I trust that is what makes for success."
From the personal viewpoiont; Bill is married to Carla Phelps (she is an outside sales manager for a heavy equipment mfg). They have 3 grown children (Ben, Carmel, and Kacie) all of whom are married. Bill and Carla have two grandchildren and more on the way. His hobbies include golf, coaching kids basketball, and fixing things. Bill is also on the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
