Christy McDonald graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She began her career in private industry including manufacturing and healthcare, where she was involved in General Ledger accounting and partnership tax. She has worked for two national search firms, with a focus on Accounting and Finance permanent placement. Her clients ranged from small privately held companies to Fortune 500.
Christy is actively involved in the financial community. She is a member of IMA and is co-President of American Society of Women Accountants-Greenville Chapter.

On a personal note, she and her husband are actively involved in their church youth programs. She also trains for local races and half marathons. She enjoys traveling and has been to Mexico, Canada, Russia, Trinidad, and Spain.
